Privacy Policy
Alto Vision Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Alto”, “we”, “us”), operates this pre-launch website at alto.vision (the “Site”). The Site does one thing: it describes the Alto product and lets you join a waitlist. This policy explains exactly what data the Site collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to this Site only. The Alto product itself will have its own privacy policy when it launches.
What we collect
- Waitlist information you give us. Your email address and, optionally, the industry you work in.
- Usage and device data, only if you accept analytics. If you accept on the consent banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Amplitude to understand how visitors use the Site: pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location (derived from IP address), browser and device type, and referral source. Amplitude also records session replays, reconstructions of how you move through the page. Text you type into form fields is masked in replays by default and is not captured. If you decline, these tools never load.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and debugging.
We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or any sensitive categories of data on this Site. There are no user accounts.
How we use it
- To confirm your waitlist signup and email you when Alto opens (and occasionally before then, e.g. to ask what you're building).
- To understand which parts of the Site work and which don't, so we can improve it.
- To keep the Site secure (rate limiting, abuse prevention).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run the Site. Each receives only what it needs:

These providers store data primarily in the United States. If you are in the EU/UK, your data is transferred to the US under the providers' standard contractual safeguards.
Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics and Amplitude set cookies and use browser storage to distinguish visitors and sessions, but only after you accept analytics on the consent banner; if you decline, neither loads. Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again (clear your browser storage to change it). The waitlist form does not require cookies, and the Site works fully without them.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist data: until Alto launches and the waitlist is retired, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. Every email we send includes a way to opt out.
- Analytics data: retained per our providers' standard settings (Google Analytics: 14 months).
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. We honor these requests regardless of where you live: email hello@alto.vision and we'll handle it. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we'll delete the entry.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes to how we handle waitlist data will be announced by email.
